Job summary

Fides Solutions Limited is seeking a Business Analyst to gather and document business requirements for SAP system design and configuration. You will run workshops with business users to map current processes and identify optimization opportunities, producing clear specifications and flow diagrams.

You will support SAP implementations through testing, UAT coordination and defect tracking, translating requirements into system configurations and delivering training and user materials to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in business or systems analysis within ERP implementation.
• Familiarity with SAP systems, modules or implementation methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in documentation tools to create clear process flows.
• Experience with project management principles and methodologies.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ITIL or change management practices is a plus.
• Experience with international or multi-site implementations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Gather, document and analyse business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders to inform SAP system design and configuration

Conduct workshops and meetings with business users to understand current processes and identify optimization opportunities

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements specifications, process flows and design documents

Support the testing phase of SAP implementations, including test case development, user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and defect tracking

Collaborate with SAP technical teams to translate business requirements into system configurations and solutions

Monitor project progress, track action items and communicate status updates to project stakeholders

Provide user training and support materials to facilitate successful system adoption

Identify and upscale risks, issues and deviations from project plans to senior team members

Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and best practices throughout project delivery

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or a related discipline

Proven experience in business or systems analysis, ideally within an ERP implementation environment

Familiarity with SAP systems, modules or implementation methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and systematically

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Proficiency in documentation tools and techniques, including the ability to create clear process flows and requirements specifications

Experience with project management principles and methodologies

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Preferred: Experience with specific SAP modules such as Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM/SD) or Human Capital Management (HCM)

Preferred: Knowledge of ITIL frameworks or change management practices
