Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant disciplines.
• 7–10 years in SAP implementation.

• Proven track record in regional/global SAP projects, ideally in B2C, FMCG, or retail.
• Leadership experience; 2+ end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations across APAC; consulting/vendor experience.
• Strong vendor and commercial acumen; ability to manage SI relationships.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.

Job description

A leading commerce group is seeking an experienced Application Leader to establish and run enterprise-wide modernization. Reporting to executive technology leadership, this role takes ownership of our APAC SAP S/4HANA program. Additionally, you will lead complex corporate IT initiatives, steering legacy systems, services, and vendor contracts toward complete operational and digital independence.

Key Responsibilities

• APAC Functional SAP S4/HANA Deployment: Manage a large portfolio of SAP initiatives including SAP greenfield and enhancements projects across factories and acquired affiliates covering SD/MM/FI/CO, EWM, AATP etc. Hands on with small configuration while in partnership with technical teams and SI-ensuring on‑time, on-budget delivery.
• PMO Leadership & Financial Governance: Establish global PMO standards, maintain active RAID management, track realization of strategic benefits, and oversee the global IT transformation budget and change controls.
• Regional Change & Enablement: Design and execute cross‑functional change management and training initiatives to maximize system adoption across all regional offices and retail networks.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant disciplines
• Experience: 7-10 years in SAP implementation (best prefer to start off SAP career right after tertiary education).
• Functionally strong in either SD,MM OR FI,CO modules. Hands on with EDI and system integrations, with ability in small configuration.
• Proven track record in regional/ global scale of projects, gained in B2C, FMCG, consumer goods, chains, manufacturing or multi-channel retail environments is a plus.
• Core Expertise: Team leadership experience is required. Proven track record in 2+ end to end SAP S/4HANA implementations across APAC (prefer multi-regions). Consulting/ Vendor experience in required.
• Vendor & Commercial Acumen: Strong in project management. Experience in collaborating with overseas technical team and managing large System Integrators on timely technical deliverables.
• Languages: Native or fluent English speaker. Cantonese and Mandarin speaking is highly preferred.
• Personality: Energetic and upbeat hands on expert who possess quick adaptability and embracing new things.
