We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Project/Multimedia Officer to join our team. This role combines community project management with event coordination and multimedia production. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded all-rounder who is comfortable both behind the scenes and behind the camera, and who thrives in a dynamic NGO environment.
Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute community projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder liaison, and post-project evaluation.
Monitor project progress and prepare reports for internal review and funder requirements.
Support and manage on-site event operations to ensure smooth execution.
Coordinate event rundowns, liaise with vendors and production teams, and handle on-the-day logistics.
Design and retouch internal marketing materials for various platforms, including social media posts and YouTube content.
Perform image and photo retouching, as well as video editing for promotional and archival purposes.
Act as the in-house photographer and videographer for events, programmes, and campaigns.
Manage photo/video shooting logistics, equipment, and media file archiving.
About you
Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in any discipline; studies in Communications, Design, Multimedia, or Social Sciences are an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the NGO, event, or media production field.
Proven experience in project planning and execution.
Hands-on experience in event management and on-site coordination.
Proficiency in design and editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro or equivalent).
Practical experience in photography and videography, including operating cameras and related equipment.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
Willing to work irregular hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, for events and shoots.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
A proactive team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
