Job summary

Captiare Limited is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join the IT Infrastructure and Operations Team on a contract basis. You will deliver infrastructure modernization, migration, transformation and improvement initiatives across the Bank, coordinating across technical teams and vendors from planning through implementation and transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of project management experience, with proven experience delivering IT infrastructure or technology projects.
• Strong hands-on technical experience in Linux/Unix, Windows, or Deskside/EUC.
• Experience in enterprise IT environments with understanding of infra operations and service continuity.
• Experience delivering infrastructure modernisation, migration, upgrade, consolidation or transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical issues into project impacts, risks and actions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and execution skills; able to work independently within contract period.
• Willingness to work across different infrastructure areas including activities outside core expertise.
• Good understanding of Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Banking/financial services experience is beneficial.
• PM/PRINCE2/ACP or similar certification is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies is beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of project management experience and hands‑on technical infrastructure experience.

The role will work across different infrastructure and technology areas, coordinating technical teams, vendors and stakeholders to drive projects from planning through implementation and transition. Candidates with strong technical backgrounds in Linux/Unix, Windows or Deskside/ End User Computing (EUC) are encouraged to apply. The technical background will be an important part of the role, while project responsibilities may extend beyond the candidate's primary technical area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of project management experience, with proven experience delivering IT infrastructure or technology projects.
• Strong hands‑on technical experience in at least one of the following areas: Linux/Unix, Windows, or Deskside / End User Computing (EUC).
• Experience working in an enterprise IT environment, with a good understanding of infrastructure operations, technical dependencies and service continuity.
• Experience delivering or supporting infrastructure modernisation, migration, upgrade, consolidation or transformation projects, including projects involving legacy environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams, vendors and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Ability to understand technical issues and dependencies and translate them into project impacts, risks and actions.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and execution skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver agreed outcomes within a defined contract period.
• Ability and willingness to work across different infrastructure and technology areas, including project activities outside the candidate's primary technical expertise.
• Good understanding of Jira and Confluence or similar project management and collaboration tools.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Experience working in the banking or financial services industry is beneficial.
• PMP, PRINCE2, ACP or other relevant project management certification is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies is beneficial.
