Infrastructure Project Manager (Technical PM)

Responsible for managing IT infrastructure and transformation projects for a leading bank, reporting to the Infrastructure PMO and Service Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure of key infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, data center consolidations, cloud deployments, office relocations, and IT transformation programs.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and schedules using tools such as Confluence and Jira.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders using Agile methodology.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; develop contingency plans as needed.
• Manage project changes through a formal change control process and coordinate status updates with multiple teams.
• Ensure projects adhere to company policies, industry best practices, and compliance standards.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for project status, updates, and escalations.
• Develop and distribute clear, concise status reports to stakeholders, sponsors, and team members.
• Facilitate project meetings (kick‑offs, steering committee meetings, daily stand‑ups) and distribute minutes/action items.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project objectives and outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive project budgets and forecasts; track all infrastructure‑related costs.
• Manage procurement process, including RFP creation, bid evaluation, and vendor selection.
• Provide regular financial reporting and explain variances between actual costs and budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on IT or infrastructure projects.
• Strong ownership experience handling infrastructure‑related projects and tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, ACP, or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Years of Total Post‑Qualifying Experience: 5.0 years.
• Years of Relevant Experience: 5.0 years.
