Leadingnation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead façade and curtain wall projects in Hong Kong, coordinating design, production and site teams from award to handover.

You will drive risk management, schedule control and cost efficiency while ensuring safety and compliance with local standards. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required, Mandarin is a plus, and CAD/BIM skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building or Architecture.
  • 7–10 years in façade or curtain wall projects in HK with at least 3 years in a PM role.
  • Reading and interpreting architectural/structural drawings; CAD/BIM background is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills; English/Cantonese; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management of façade and curtain wall subcontracts from design to handover.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, resource plans and budgets; monitor progress and take corrective action.
  • Coordinate with design/engineering teams to review drawings, shop drawings and method statements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, fabricators, on-site teams and main contractors to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with HK building codes, safety regulations and quality standards; lead safety initiatives.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments and variation orders to management.
  • Support design optimisation for manufacturability, cost efficiency and installability.
  • Manage changes, claims and variations; assist commercial discussions.
  • Mentor junior staff to build team capability.

  • We work closely with leading developers, main contractors and international design consultants to deliver complex, high‑quality façade packages from design development through to fabrication, installation, testing and handover.
  • We maintain in‑house technical, project and site teams, with ISO‑certified quality and safety management systems, focusing on precision engineering, strong on‑site execution and long‑term client relationships.
  • Our past projects span key sectors including government and public buildings, hospitals and healthcare facilities, commercial offices and mixed‑use towers, luxury residential developments, hotels, education institutions and transport‑related infrastructure.
ROLE MISSION :
  • To lead the planning, coordination and delivery of façade and curtain wall projects from award to completion.
  • To ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality and technical standards.
ROLE SUMMARY :
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned façade/curtain wall projects.
  • Work closely with internal design, production and site teams, and with external stakeholders including architects, façade consultants, main contractors, suppliers and clients.
  • Take full responsibility for project performance, risk management and problem‑solving.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methods and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Lead end‑to‑end project management of façade and curtain wall subcontracts, from design stage through to installation and handover.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, resource plans and budgets; monitor progress and take corrective action when needed.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings and method statements for curtain wall, structural glazing, cladding and related systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers, fabricators, on‑site installation teams and main contractors to resolve technical, logistical and programme issues.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Hong Kong building codes, safety regulations and quality standards; lead safety and quality initiatives on site.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, risk assessments, variation orders and other project documentation to management and clients.
  • Support design optimisation for manufacturability, cost efficiency and ease of installation, without compromising performance or aesthetics.
  • Manage project changes, claims and variations; support commercial and contractual discussions where required.
  • Mentor and guide junior project staff and coordinators to build team capability.
IDEAL CANDIDATE :
  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building, Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in façade or curtain wall projects in Hong Kong, with at least 3 years in a Project Manager or similar lead role.
  • Solid understanding of Hong Kong subcontracting practices, statutory requirements and quality/safety standards.
  • Able to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings; background in design/drafting (CAD, BIM) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills; able to work under pressure and solve problems proactively.
  • Proficient in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Professional, hands‑on and results‑driven, with a strong focus on safety, quality and delivery.
