Gfgroup is seeking a skilled Project Manager & Business Analyst (Associate) in Hong Kong to lead and coordinate technology projects end-to-end. You will collaborate with front, middle, and back office teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive business transformation and governance across the organization.

The role combines project management, business analysis, and data analysis, requiring strong communication in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in CS/IS/IT/Analytics or related.
• Around 5 years of relevant experience in project management or BA.
• Background in securities firms, consulting, internet tech, or fintech.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin); Cantonese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, manage end-to-end technology projects from initiation, planning, requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, and production rollout.
• Monitor planning, solution design, development, and implementation of front, middle, and back office systems supporting Global Market business (FICC, Equities Derivatives, Institutional Equity).
• Track coordination among business users, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Conduct project progress tracking, manage risks and issues, and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Drive project governance activities, including steering committee materials, status reporting, and management presentations.

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our Project Management and Business Solution Team.The successful candidate will be responsible for project delivery, business and data analysis, and departmental governance support.This role requires close collaboration with front, middle, and back office stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to drive business transformation and technology initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Source, Manage end-to-end technology projects from initiation, planning, requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, and production rollout ;
• Monitor Participate in the planning, solution design, development, and implementation of front, middle, and back office systems supporting Global Market business (FICC, Equities Derivatives, Institutional Equity, etc.);
• Track Lead project cooridnation among business users, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery or strategic initiatives.
• Conduct Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• regular Drive project governance activities, including steering committee materials, status reporting, and management presentations.

Business Analysis & Data Analysis

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for operational and system improvements.
• Drive system functional design and data model development for booking systems, data platforms, and downstream applications.
• Prepare business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, process flows, and other project-related documentation.
• Perform data extraction, data analysis, and data modeling to support system design, business decision-making, and project implementation.
• Supporting testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and production rollout.

Business Department Operations & Governance

• Support departmental budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting processes.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and implementatio of departmental policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Prepare management reports, executive presentations, governance materials, and other documentation required by senior management.
• Support departmental planning, reporting, and other operational initiatives as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related disciplines;
• Around 5 years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, system implementation, or related roles;
• Background in securities firms, consulting firms, internet technology companies, or financial technology organizations;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin;
• Excellent Experience supporting PMO, budgeting, governance, or departmental administration functions.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
