Job summary

CYCMOTOR, part of CYC Technology Group, seeks a Senior Project Manager in Hong Kong to drive end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through mass production. You will shape vision, strategy and roadmap, work with Sales, Design, R&D, and mass production teams, and ensure launches meet schedule, budget, and performance.

You will analyze data and customer feedback to optimize product performance, and coordinate long-, mid-, and short-term product generation plans with a strong emphasis on supply

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product/project management, R&D or engineering.
• Experience in EV/E-motor/E-bike or related supply chain is required.
• Fluent English; able to communicate in Chinese.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of our product lifecycle, from conception through to mass production, and product generation management.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with the company's overall objectives.

Identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape to form the development direction and positioning of our products.

Collaborate and facilitate cross-functional teams, including Sales, Design, R&D, NPI, and mass production, to drive the development and launch of new products and features.

Plan and monitor the processes of product launch, ensuring that the new product launch is on schedule, on budget, and most importantly, fulfills the planned performance.

Monitor the product performance using key metrics (data-driven) and user feedback, championing the voice of customers within the company to ensure that the products deliver a superior user experience.

Plan, facilitate, and monitor product generation management, both in the long/mid-term and short-term.

Qualifications:

Work Experience:

At least 7 years of experience in product/project management, research and development, or engineering.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a product/project manager.

MUST have adequate experience within the industries of EV/E-motor/E-bike/robot (industrial, vacuum cleaner, etc.), or in supply chain companies that provide key components to those industries.

Professional Skills:

MUST have sufficient knowledge and experience in both electronics and mechanics, particularly in the relevant industries.

Basic understanding of the three-electric systems (motor, electric control, battery) or experience in related industries/products.

Familiar with project management processes and proficient in using various project development process forms and document templates.

Sensitive to project timelines and capable of effectively controlling project progress.

Strong supplier communication skills, with the ability to efficiently coordinate supply chain resources.

Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile development, PMP, etc.

Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to optimize product performance and user experience through data-driven approaches.

Proficient in using office software, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.

Proficient in using CAD/Solidworks/Fusion 360 design software for product design and engineering drawings.

Language Skills:

Fluent in English, both in written and spoken communication.

Able to communicate in Chinese.

Other Requirements:

An international engineering background is required.

Passion for bicycles and in-depth knowledge of the bicycle industry are essential.
