Job summary

Confidential, a leading retail and commercial facilities operator, is seeking an experienced Project & HSSE Manager to oversee delivery of improvements and capital projects across a portfolio of sites in Hong Kong and Macau. You will manage full lifecycle projects, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery and budget compliance.

You will lead HSSE programs, drive safety improvements, conduct inductions, audits, and risk assessments, and promote a strong safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Safety Management, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years in project management, facilities, construction, or maintenance.
• Strong HSSE management systems knowledge and permit-to-work experience.
• Experience overseeing contractors, subcontractors, and multi-site projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coordination and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across territories.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from planning and execution through to completion and close-out.
• Coordinate closely with commercial, procurement, finance, operations, and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee service providers and subcontractors performing field activities across multiple sites.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, quality, safety performance, and contractor compliance.
• Manage permit-to-work processes and support safe execution of site activities.
• Ensure assigned projects meet agreed KPIs, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Lead the implementation of HSSE policies, programs, and initiatives across the organization.
• Develop and execute annual HSSE improvement plans.
• Deliver HSSE inductions, training, audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset throughout project delivery and operations.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project & HSSE Manager to oversee the delivery of facilities improvement and capital projects across a portfolio of retail and commercial sites. This role combines project management and HSSE leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will manage the full project lifecycle, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, oversee service providers and subcontractors, and drive the implementation of operational HSSE programs and compliance initiatives across the organization.

• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, and multi-site projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across assigned territories.
