Job summary

MJPM Design & Build is seeking a diligent CAD drafter/designer in Hong Kong to create, amend, and maintain design and tender drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

You will collaborate with project teams, designers, and engineers to respond to site conditions, prepare working drawings, submission packages, and maintain orderly project files and records while supporting general office administration.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and PowerPoint (essential); SketchUp and Illustrator are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the fitting-out / interior industry.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Familiar with basic drawing standards and construction detailing.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in creating, amending, and maintaining CAD drawings, including design layouts and tender drawings.
• Collaborate and coordinate with project teams, designers, and engineers to prepare working drawings in response to site conditions and queries.
• Maintain drawing quality and standards in accordance with company and project requirements.
• Assist in preparation of submission drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support day-to-day project coordination, including documentation, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Assist in preparing quotations, tender documents, and SORs.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for basic information and updates.
• Organise and maintain project files, drawings, and records.
• Provide general office administrative and PA support, including: document formatting and filing; email drafting and correspondence; meeting coordination and scheduling; assist in site-related matters when required; handle ad hoc tasks and assignments to support the team’s daily operations.

Job description
