Job summary

To-gather Parents Resource Centre (Kwun Tong) is seeking a part-time Programme Worker to engage target clients, develop promotional plans, and connect with community stakeholders. The role includes assisting with publicity materials in EM languages and performing administrative tasks for the centre.

The worker will plan and run groups for families with special needs, including ethnic minority communities, and may require evening or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Five subjects including Mathematics, Chinese Language and English Language at HKCEE level 2 or above, or HKDSE equivalent.
• Or five subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics at level 2 or above plus two other subjects (New Senior Secondary or other) or equivalent qualification.
• Or an equivalent qualification assessed by the HKCAAVQ.
• Relevant working experience in running programs, promotion and community networking.
• Experience in rehabilitation or ethnic minority services is preferable.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• Preference for applicants with experience working with SEN children and EM service users.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken); proficient in Bahasa, Indonesia, Nepali, Urdu, Punjabi, Tagalog, Thai, Hindi, or Vietnamese.
• Outgoing, good team player, good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, responsible.
• Required to work during evenings, weekends, or Sundays as needed.

• －5 subjects including Mathematics, Chinese Language and English Language（“Syllabus B” before 2007）, at Level 2 or Grade E, or above in HKCEE; or 5 subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, at level 2 or above and 2 other subjects (e.g. New Senior Secondary subjects at level 2 or above, Applied learning subjects at attained level or above, and other language subjects at grade E or above in HKDSE); or an equivalent qualification assessed by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
• －Relevant working experience in running programs, promotion and community networking.
• －Relevant working experiences in rehabilitation or ethnic minority services are preferable.
• －Proficient in Computer applications.
• －Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in working with SEN children and EM service users.
• －Be able to communicate effectively in English, both in written and spoken, and be proficient in Bahasa, Indonesia, Nepali, Urdu, Punjabi, Tagalog, Thai, Hindi, or Vietnamese, in written and spoken forms.
