Job summary

香港基督教服務處現正招聘多元文化服務助理，負責接聽電話、留存訊息並適時跟進；亦需於不同機構／學校／服務單位駐點。您需協助社工及幼稚園老師執行群體活動及戶外項目，並參與活動的籌備與實施及與客戶家庭的溝通與互動。

應徵者需具本地中學教育程度及社會服務經驗者優先；英語流利，能使用多種語言之一進行口頭及聽力溝通，並具 MS Word、Excel、PowerPoint 的電腦技能，且無性罪行紀錄。

Qualifications

• 完成香港本地中學教育；或具等同學歷。
• 具社會服務相關經驗者優先。
• 英語流利。
• 能以至少一種語言＝ Bahasa Indonesia、Tagalog、Thai、Hindi、Nepali、Punjabi、Urdu、Vietnamese之一作口語／聽力溝通。
• 熟練使用電腦，熟悉 MS Word、Excel、PowerPoint。
• 未曾在香港或其他地區被判犯罪涉及性罪行，符合性罪紀查核要求。

Responsibilities

• 接聽電話、留言，必要時跟進。
• 不時在另一機構、學校或服務單位駐點工作。
• 協助社工和幼稚園老師進行直接服務，包括小組工作、群體項目及戶外活動。
• 協助籌備與實施小組工作、節目及活動。
• 協助與客戶及其家庭的溝通與參與工作。

Multicultural Service Assistant

Responsibilities:

• －To answer telephone calls, take messages or following-up if necessary.
• －To station at another agency, school or service unit from time to time as and when required.
• －To assist social worker and kindergarten teacher to carry out direct service including group work service, mass programs and out-door activities.
• －To assist in preparation and implementation of group work service, programs and activities.
• －To assist in communication and engagement work with clients and families.

Requirements:

• －Completed secondary education in Hong Kong, or attended HKDSE; or completed secondary education in an overseas or equivalent.
• －Relevant experience in social service is preferred.
• －Fluent in English.
• －Fluent in speaking and listening at least one of the following languages: Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Thai, Hindi, Nepali, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali or Vietnamese.
• －Computer literate with knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• －Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
