Job summary

Vincheer Investments Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned apparel product development professional to lead complex fashion projects for international clients. You will oversee concept development, manage a small team, prepare 3D artwork, and present compelling concepts to stakeholders.

The role requires 8+ years in apparel product development, strong technical knowledge of woven, knit and sweater garments, and fluent English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Qualifications

Degree in Fashion Design, Textile/Clothing Technology or related field.
8+ years solid experience in apparel product development (trading company / buying office preferred).
Strong technical knowledge in woven, knit and sweater garments, fabric properties and manufacturing.
Experienced in handling US customers.
Detail-oriented, good problem-solving & able to work under tight deadlines.
Proficient in CAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, video editing and 3D design.
Immediately available preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver creative & compelling presentations to clients.
Lead a team with 3-4 sub-ordinates to oversee concept development and execution, including artwork, graphics, embellishments, strike-offs & samples.
Pioneer market research and trend analysis to forecast fashion movements.
Contribute innovative ideas for construction, materials, trims, and components to enhance product integrity.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and seasonal calendars while prioritizing workload to ensure on-time execution.
Partner with customers, vendors & material suppliers to solve complex development, construction, engineering, and commercialization issues.
Domestic and international travel is required.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Prepare 3D artwork for customer presentations.
