Job summary

HR Plus in Hong Kong is seeking a Fashion Designer to join a renowned fashion retail group. The role covers prints and graphics for apparels, fabrics, trims, and accessories, with collaboration across product concept, planning, production, and marketing.

The candidate will participate in seasonal collections from sketching to sample development, support fabric sourcing and color matching, and work closely with design and development teams to ensure smooth graphics execution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion Design, Textiles or Graphics or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of fashion design experience for a brand.
• Proficient in fashion graphic applications and techniques.
• Strong creativity with good fashion sense and design knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team player.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Design prints and graphics for apparels, fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Research market trends and ensure brand image consistency.
• Collaborate with merchandise planning, production, and fashion designers from concept to marketing.
• Contribute to seasonal collections from sketching to sample development.
• Assist in sourcing fabrics and color matching for production.
• Coordinate with designers and development teams to execute graphics.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Our client is a renowned fashion retail group in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Fashion Designer to add to their growing team.

Job Description:

• Responsible for prints and graphics design for all apparels, fabrics, trims, and accessories etc
• Research and analyze market trends and commercial needs by keeping a consistent brand image and positioning
• Collaborate closely with merchandise planning, production and fashion designers from product concept, planning, production to marketing
• Participate in new seasonal trendy collection from sketching, technical drawing, coloring, positioning, trim design, print & pattern graphic illustration, artwork, fitting to sample development stage
• Support in sourcing, selecting and purchasing of fabric for production and color matching for seasonal collection
• Work closely with Fashion Designers and product development team in graphics executions to ensure a smooth workflow
• Assist ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Fashion Design/ Textiles/ Graphics or related disciplines
• At least 1-year experience in fashion design for fashion brand
• Be proficient in fashion graphic applications and techniques
• Strong creativity with good fashion sense and design knowledge;
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Able to work independently and good team player
• Good command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
