Role Introduction
Reports to:Head of Procurement Technology & Professional Services
Shape Cathay’s approach to IT software procurement by defining and executing category, sourcing and commercial strategies that deliver value, quality, reliability and service. You will lead software acquisition for the airline in line with established procurement rules, using global, regional and local market intelligence to identify change, manage risk and capture opportunity.
Working closely with IT, business and outport stakeholders, you will challenge specifications, manage demand and build productive relationships with influential software suppliers. Your remit spans supplier evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, performance management, compliance, and improvements to the procurement operating model, including greater use of cross-category support for tenders and Statements of Work.
Leading a team of Assistant Managers, you will combine commercial judgement with coaching and decisive stakeholder engagement. Your work will help Cathay secure software responsibly, uphold high ethical and compliance standards, and support the technology needs that move our business and customers forward.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
