Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification and relevant auditor certifications are required.

  • Knowledge of IOSA standards and supplier quality governance is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational supplier quality management framework for Cathay Group airlines.
  • Oversee audits, risk-based performance measurement and auditor development.
  • Manage IOSA activities, contracting, logistics and conformance reporting.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and effective supplier protections in contracts.
  • Represent the department in meetings and travel as required.

Role Introduction

Reports to:Head of Group Quality

Shape the quality governance, assurance capability and supplier oversight that support safe, secure and reliable operations across Cathay Group airlines. You will oversee the operational supplier quality management framework, helping operational and non-operational departments maintain appropriate standards, contractual protections, audit records and responses to safety occurrences.

Combining strategic oversight with hands‑on assurance, you will lead audits, strengthen risk‑based performance measurement and develop auditor capability through briefings, training, qualification and assessment. You will also manage Cathay Pacific Airways’ biennial International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), coordinating contracting, logistics and conformance reporting while supporting relevant audits across Cathay subsidiaries.

Through close partnership with operational teams, Procurement and Aircraft Trading, regulators and external assurance bodies, you will turn quality requirements into effective everyday practice. Your leadership will help Cathay maintain professional excellence while protecting customers, colleagues and the integrity of its operations.

Requirements
