Job summary

Foodealer Co Ltd in Quarry Bay, Hong Kong seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and cost-saving initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, procurement or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing/logistics.
• Proven supplier management, contract negotiation and vendor evaluation expertise.
• Strong inventory management knowledge and procurement best practices.
• Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.
• Ability to analyse spending data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
• Experience in a Hong Kong business environment is advantageous.
• APICS CSCP or CIPS qualifications are preferred.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is desirable for this HK-based role.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team on a full-time basis based in Quarry Bay.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to optimise costs whilst maintaining quality and delivery standards

Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing and compliance requirements

Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favourable pricing and conditions

Manage supplier relationships and performance, conducting regular reviews and addressing any issues proactively

Oversee inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock whilst minimising excess inventory and associated carrying costs

Monitor procurement metrics and key performance indicators, reporting on efficiency and cost savings achieved

Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations and industry standards throughout all procurement activities

Collaborate with operations, finance and other departments to forecast demand and align procurement planning

Analyse spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement

Manage procurement documentation, purchase orders and maintain accurate records

Lead and mentor procurement team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, procurement or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Procurement or supply chain management experience, ideally within manufacturing, logistics or a related industry

Proven expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation and vendor evaluation

Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procurement best practices

Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Demonstrated ability to analyse spending data, identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements

Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

Experience in a similar role within the Hong Kong business environment is advantageous

Relevant professional certifications such as APICS CSCP or CIPS qualifications are preferred

Fluency in English and Cantonese is desirable for this Hong Kong-based role
