Job summary

GTS Consulting is seeking a capable Team Lead to manage a group of Assistant Relationship Managers supporting Private Banking clients in Hong Kong. You will oversee client inquiries, regulatory compliance, and staff development while ensuring efficient operations.

The role emphasizes coaching ARMs, maintaining staffing levels, and delivering timely, accurate service to both internal and external stakeholders within a high-regulation environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in private banking or wealth management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk controls.
• Excellent client service, communication, and mentorship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Assistant Relationship Managers to support Relationship Managers servicing Private Banking clients.
• Respond to client enquiries and instructions with timely resolution.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and policies.
• Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to ARMs.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet workload fluctuations and coverage needs.
• Enhance staff morale and career development through active engagement and training reviews.
• Calibrate performance evaluations and promote recommendations.
• Provide pipeline management support to Market Head/Team Head.
• Coordinate with front office stakeholders on dissemination-related activities.
• Review and optimize processing workflows to improve efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve queries with proper closure.
• Consolidate and prepare management reports for Front Office and Business Managers.
• Guide the team on compliance with Operational Risk framework and policies.
• Coordinate Front Office activities including Business Continuity and reporting.
• Handle scheduling, correspondence, travel arrangements, meetings, and presentations.
• Maintain records for all team matters.
• Follow up on account reviews, documentation, and remediation tasks.
• Support pre-audit health checks and rectify observations within deadlines.
• Coordinate with Product Groups, Operations and other functions as needed.
