Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking an ARM Team Head / Lead for its Private Banking division in Hong Kong. You will manage, mentor, and optimise the Assistant Relationship Manager desk, driving efficiency, compliance, and high service quality for HNW/UHNW clients.

You will collaborate closely with Market Heads, Team Heads, and Senior Private Bankers to ensure seamless client execution and strong risk controls across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related disciplines.
• 8+ years of Private Banking client servicing, middle office, or ARM function with supervisory experience.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the ARM team; drive staff development and workload distribution.
• Serve as primary FO liaison with Operations, Compliance and Risk for onboarding, orders, settlements, and client requests.
• Ensure adherence to HKMA/SFC regulatory requirements, AML/KYC and pre-audit checks.
• Review and refine workflows; drive digital system enhancements and resolve escalations.
• Support Market Heads with pipeline reporting and management presentations.

As the ARM Team Head / Lead, you will manage, mentor, and optimise the ARM desk while driving operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high service quality:

• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and coach a team of ARMs; drive staff engagement, workload distribution, leave coverage, performance calibration, and career progression.
• Operational & Front-Office Oversight: Serve as the primary FO liaison with Operations, Compliance, and Risk to streamline onboarding, order execution, trade settlements, and client requests.
• Risk Management & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, HKMA/SFC regulatory requirements, AML/KYC, account reviews, and pre-audit health checks.
• Workflow Optimisation: Review and refine operational workflows, drive digital system enhancements, and resolve complex operational or client escalations promptly.
• Management Support: Assist Market Heads/Business Managers with pipeline reporting, management presentations, and team administrative governance.

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Private Banking client servicing, middle office, or ARM function, with a proven supervisory or people management track record.
• Strong knowledge of private banking products, credit processes, onboarding/KYC requirements, and regional regulatory frameworks (HKMA/SFC).
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Relevant regulatory licences (e.g., HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8) preferred.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese).
