Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a senior leader in Hong Kong to run the Assistant Relationship Management (ARM) function within Private Banking. You will lead the ARM team, partner with Relationship Managers, and oversee onboarding, account maintenance and frontline client servicing.

You will drive process improvements, strengthen governance and controls, and collaborate on platform initiatives to enhance efficiency and the client experience across RM teams.

Qualifications

• Solid experience within Private Banking or Wealth Management, ideally in an ARM or frontline support capacity.
• Proven experience leading and developing an ARM or client servicing team.
• Strong understanding of onboarding, account maintenance, and frontline workflows.
• Good knowledge of KYC, AML and Private Banking control requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management with RMs, senior management and control/support functions.
• Able to manage complex operational issues while maintaining a client-service mindset.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese; Mandarin would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the ARM team, including team development, workload allocation and overall service standards.
• Partner closely with Relationship Managers and Team Heads to provide high-quality support across the entire client lifecycle.
• Oversee client onboarding, account maintenance, documentation, transaction processing and ongoing client servicing activities.
• Act as a key escalation point for complex client servicing and operational matters, coordinating with Operations, Compliance, Risk and other control functions.
• Drive improvements to front-office workflows, service models and operational processes to enhance efficiency and client experience.
• Maintain strong governance and controls across the ARM function, ensuring appropriate adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with management on platform initiatives, process transformation and broader Private Banking projects.
• Build a strong, collaborative ARM culture and ensure consistent support standards across different RM teams.
