Job summary

Hang Seng Bank is seeking a high-caliber professional to head the Prestige Private Wealth Centre in Central. The role leads the Private RMs, develops localized sales strategies, and drives service excellence for high-net-worth, mainlander and offshore clients.

You will manage a team, oversee KPIs, and organize product briefings and promotional activities while ensuring top-tier client experience and risk controls. Mandarin proficiency is essential, with fluent English and Chinese required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration or related qualifications.
• Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations/Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations.
• Proven sales experience with high net worth, mainlander and offshore customers; people management experience preferable.
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese and English; Mandarin proficiency is a MUST.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Prestige Private RMs and manage the centre to achieve KPIs via localized sales/marketing strategies.
• Organize promotions to acquire new business.
• Monitor and review sales processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Organize product briefings, experience sharing and role-play to boost product/investment knowledge and selling skills.
• Support Prestige Private RMs in providing investment consultancy services for high-net-worth, mainlander and offshore clients.
• Set clear performance targets and monitor progress regularly.
• Enhance team competencies and professionalism through coaching to improve sales performance.
• Provide initiatives to streamline sales procedures and system enhancements.
• Manage operational risk, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and controls.

Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 250 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our branch network as Prestige Private Wealth Centre Team Head II, reporting to Branch Manager.

• Lead the Prestige Private RMs and manage the centre to achieve assigned KPIs through formulating and implementing localized sales and marketing strategies and monitoring their effectiveness
• Organize various promotional activities for acquiring new business
• Monitor and review sales process to improve sales efficiency and enhance customer experience
• Organize product briefing, experience sharing and role play sessions to enhance team members' product/ investment knowledge and selling skills
• Support Prestige Private RMs in providing investment consultancy services to enhance professionalism of our service for high-net-worth, mainlander and offshore customers
• Set clear performance targets and objectives and monitoring their progress regularly
• Enhance the competencies and professionalism of the sales team to improve sales performance via sales coaching
• Provide initiatives to streamline sales procedures, enhance customer experience and system enhancement proactively
• Manage operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and controls, loss identification and reporting by observing the relevant policies and guidelines issued by the Bank and the Group

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration or other relevant qualifications such as CFA, CFP or CFMP
• Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations/Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations
• Proven sales experience in managing the portfolio of high net worth, mainlander and offshore customers with people management experience preferable
• High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers and manage complex interactions effectively
• Able to inspire others to achieve their goals/ambitions in a variety of situations
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese and English Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; high proficiency in Mandarin is a MUST
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
