Position:Postdoctoral Fellows in Tumor Immunology
We are seeking two highly self-motivated researchers to join our team. Our research addresses cutting-edge questions in tumor microenvironment modulation, immunometabolism, and resistance mechanisms to novel immunotherapies by leveraging human stem cell reprogramming and NK/macrophage differentiation platforms, with the ultimate goal of translating fundamental immunological insights into clinically actionable strategies to overcome current therapeutic bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Independent Projects: Propose, design, and drive research projects forward, tackling core questions in tumor immunology through rigorous experimentation and data interpretation.
- Solve Scientific Problems:Develop and execute rigorous experimental plans to validate hypotheses and elucidate mechanisms underlying immunological questions proposed by the principal investigator.
- Explore New Frontiers: Synthesize literature findings with preliminary data to generate novel hypotheses and pioneer new research directions.
- Collaborate Effectively: Engage in active collaboration with lab members, contribute to interdisciplinary discussions, and work collectively to address complex scientific challenges, thereby enhancing the lab's overall productivity.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Immunology, Oncology, Cell/Molecular Biology, or a related field (obtained or imminent). Alternatively, a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of full-time research experience in immunology, demonstrating research capabilities equivalent to a Ph.D.
- Proven ability to conduct independent research, including literature review, experimental design, data analysis, and manuscript drafting.
- Hands-on proficiency in core immunological techniques, including but not limited to: Molecular biology (PCR, qPCR, Western blot, Co-IP), Cell culture, Multicolor flow cytometry, Immune cell functional assays (NK cytotoxicity, antigen presentation, macrophage phagocytosis, etc.), Multiplex IF/IHC, and Mouse tumor model establishment/dosing/monitoring.
- At least one first-author (or co-first author) research article published in a reputable SCI-indexed journal in the field (please provide a publication list or representative paper).
- Excellent communication and writing skills in both Mandarin and English, coupled with strong team spirit and a genuine passion for scientific inquiry.
Preferred:
- Experience or ability to effectively collaborate with bioinformaticians, interpret multi-omics data (transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, etc.), and contribute to integrated dry-wet laboratory research.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and the translational pipeline from basic research to clinical application, as well as experience or strong interest in the commercialization of research outputs and biotech company operations.
