Job summary
Centre for Translational Stem Cell Biology (CTSCB) at The University of Hong Kong invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to commence as soon as possible for one year, with possible renewal subject to performance. The role covers translational immunology projects and collaboration with HKU and Cambridge teams.
Requirements include a PhD in Biomedical/Biological Sciences, strong immunology and stem cell biology experience, and a track record of publications.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Research experience in basic immunology is required, preferably in primary immunodeficiencies or related diseases.
- Experience with stem cell biology and drug screening is highly desirable.
- A strong publication or patent record would be a bonus.
- Good laboratory practices and teamwork skills are expected.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct translational immunology research projects in a multidisciplinary team.
- Perform R&D activities and contribute to business development of the project.
- Possibly work off-campus and participate in pitching sessions with investors.
