Job summary

Ocean Longevity Shipping & Management Company Limited is seeking a dedicated professional to assist in post-fixture activities within international shipping operations. You will handle hire/freight statements, laytime calculations, and related expense filing.

The role requires a maritime/shipping degree, strong English and Chinese, and solid MS Office skills. You will engage with charterers and manage final account settlements, with a discretionary bonus and group medical insurance offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in maritime/shipping or related field.
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Sound computer knowledge, especially in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in post fixture activities such as issuing hire/freight statements and vessel laytime calculation.
• Filing of freight/hire statement and port/ship repair expenses.
• Handle speed claim and off-hire calculation.
• Calculate and negotiate demurrage/despatch settlement.
• Accountable for collection of final accounts and payment of brokerage.
• Communication with charterers (delivery notice, on/off hire survey, LOI and other post fixture issues).
