Job summary

Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee room cleanliness and public areas. You will verify room status, run reports, and support daily operations in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role requires a Diploma in Hospitality Management (or above), at least 2 years in a supervisory housekeeping position, and strong English/Chinese communication. PM shifts with weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory housekeeping role.
• Familiar with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capable of administrative tasks and MS Office proficiency.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas after being cleaned by Housekeepers to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities.
• Willing to work PM shift (1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.), including weekends, public holidays, and rostered shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Hospitality Management will be an advantage.
• At least 2 years' working experience at supervisory level in the Housekeeping Department.
• Sound knowledge of the use of various cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to perform administrative tasks and proficient in MS Office applications.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Hard-working, responsible, and willing to take initiative.
• Able to work shifts.
