Job summary

The Achievers International Academy Limited is seeking a Physics and Maths Tutor for Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have strong curriculum familiarity with IGCSE, A Level, and IBDP, plus proven secondary teaching experience in Physics and Mathematics and an excellent command of English.

• Deliver after-school sessions during Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
• Support students with university application essays and coursework where appropriate.

Physics and Maths Tutor (IGCSE / A-Level / IBDP / AP)

The ideal candidate is an academic high-achiever with a genuine passion for teaching. To be considered for this role, you MUST meet the following criteria:

1) Academic Background:

Either: You are a graduate (or are graduating in June of this year) from a reputable university in Hong Kong or overseas, with a degree relevant to the subject(s) you wish to teach.

Or: You have achieved the highest possible grades in the subject(s) you intend to teach (e.g., 9/A* at IGCSE, A* at A-Level, or 7 at IBDP).

2) Curriculum Familiarity (Essential)

Strong understanding of international curricula, specifically IGCSE, A Level, and/or IBDP.

Ability to navigate syllabus requirements, exam techniques, and marking standards confidently.

3) Teaching Experience: You possess concrete, demonstrable experience in teaching or tutoring students in your specialized subject(s) at the secondary level.

4) Language Proficiency: You possess an excellent command of English and is fully capable of teaching complex concepts in English.

5) Commitment: You are available to work fixed hours from Monday to Friday (typically after school hours until evening). Specific working hours will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.

Desirable Attributes (Advantageous)

• 1) Bilingual/Multilingual: Ability to teach in Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
• 2) Weekend Availability: Willingness to devote some hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays for teaching.
• 3) Capability and confidence to teach multiple subjects across different curricula.
