A key client of ours, a top tier Tech firm, based here in Hong Kong is urgently looking for capable PHP Application Developers with between 3-5 Years of work experience. The ideal individual should have strong project management skills coming from either the online gaming or internet industry. Preference will be given to those candidates who have led a team and have strong leadership capabilities.

The Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the game server-side logic and APIs for the company.
• Tackle, and resolve any backend technical issues related to the game.
• Collaborative development and data integration with other teams.
• Identify and resolve any development-related tasks.

The Requirements

• Over 3 years of project experience from either the online gaming or internet industry. Preference will be give to candidates who have successfully led teams.
• Master development and optimization in a Linux environment, and be familiar with shell programming.
• Be proficient in MySQL and other data design and optimization tools, with experience in large-scale data processing and tuning preferred.
• Master common design patterns and development frameworks, capable of independently analyzing problems, designing solutions, and deploying projects.
• Proficiency in common distributed caching systems, with a preference given to candidates who have experience in deploying and optimizing large-scale caching systems.
• Experience with commercial projects such as high-concurrency projects and those requiring high stability are preferred.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills, with a high sense of responsibility and professionalism.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on abilities and have the capability and interest in solving complex problems.
