Job summary

JAVA Programmer

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal IT support teams and end users to provide maintenance and support services for web-based and mobile-enabled systems.
• Participate in the implementation and enhancement of web-based applications, including:
  • Application development
  • System testing
  • Program deployment
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Collaborate with the development team in delivering quality software solutions using modern development technologies and methodologies.
• Assist in conducting:
  • Unit testing
  • System integration testing (SIT)
  • User acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support supervisors in providing technical advice and recommendations to management and system users.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and related project deliverables as required.
• Ensure system stability, performance, and compliance with project standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge / experience in the following areas:
  • Practical experience in web-based and Java programming
