We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Operations Specialist, supporting a seamless employee lifecycle experience and contributing to various HR projects.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in APAC payroll operations, together with broader exposure across People Operations, such as benefits, insurance, global mobility, immigration, HRIS, and employee lifecycle management. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, efficient, and employee-focused HR operations.
What You'll Do:
- End-to-End APAC Payroll Management: Manage ongoing payroll operations across APAC in partnership with external vendors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and continuous process improvement to support an efficient employee experience.
- Benefits & Insurance Administration: Support regional benefits and insurance programs, including employee enquiries, enrollments and changes, vendor and broker coordination, annual renewals, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Employee Lifecycle Operations: Manage and support key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, contract renewals, employment verification, reference checks, and other employee documentation, ensuring a smooth employee experience throughout the lifecycle.
- Global Mobility & Immigration: Support regional mobility and immigration processes, working with employees, internal stakeholders, and external vendors on work authorization, relocation, and related employee movements.
- HRIS Management: Manage HRIS transactions and employee data in Workday, ensuring accurate lifecycle processing, strong data integrity, effective downstream payroll support, and continuous improvement of HR processes and data flows.
- Data Integrity & Audits: Conduct HR data audits, maintain physical personnel files (P-files), respond to general HR inquiries, and validate employee data within Workday.
- Compliance & Data Audits: Support HR compliance activities by conducting regular data audits, maintaining personnel records, and ensuring HR processes are aligned with applicable employment and benefits regulations across relevant APAC markets.

Skills You’ll Need:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a strong academic record and at least 3 years in HR operations, payroll, benefits, or a related area.
- HRIS Knowledge: Familiarity with HR systems like Workday, Ultimate Software, PeopleSoft, or Greenhouse.
- Benefits Knowledge: Understanding of benefit plan principles and relevant laws.
- Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and V-lookups.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Tech-Savvy & Curious: Interest in workflow automation and a proactive approach to technology.
- Project Management Skills: Background in process improvement and project management.
- Adaptability & Problem Solving: Creative problem-solver with resilience to change, able to adapt to ad hoc situations.
