Job summary

Airwallex is seeking an Account Executive, Payments & Billing in Asia to drive net-new revenue across SME, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments. You will own the full sales cycle end-to-end and partner with Product and Engineering to design scalable billing and payments solutions.

This role is based in Singapore or Hong Kong. We value autonomy, strong executive presence, and a proven track record in fintech sales.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in AE, BD, or product sales in fintech or B2B payments.
• Deep Payments Domain Expertise in card acquiring and regional methods in Asia.
• Billing / SaaS closing experience with ownership of end-to-end sales cycles.
• Solution selling ability translating complex requirements into proposals.
• Cross-functional execution across sales, product, operations, legal, and partnerships.
• Deal structuring and closing high-impact, complex deals in regulated environments.
• Executive presence with stakeholder management for CFO/CTO/Head of Payments.
• Autonomy and agility in fast-changing regional contexts.
• Strong communication to align technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive net-new revenue across SME, Mid-Market, and Enterprise in Asia.
• Own full sales cycle end-to-end from prospecting to close.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to architect tailored solutions for billing and payments.
• Lead executive presentations and demos to CFO, CTO, CEO, and Head of Payments.
• Leverage industry network to open doors and create case studies and references.
• Partner with Strategy, Revenue Ops, and Product Marketing for campaigns and plays.
• Maintain pipeline, forecasting, and CRM hygiene for visibility and risk management.
