Job summary

South Island School, part of The English Schools Foundation (ESF), is seeking a Part-time Educational Assistant in the Chinese Department. The role supports students learning Chinese and assists teachers to maximize curriculum access.

Ideal candidates will have Putonghua near-native proficiency, fluent English, excellent communication, teamwork, and ICT skills. Immediate availability preferred; Hong Kong resident or valid visa required.

Qualifications

• Putonghua with near-native proficiency and fluent English required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork ability and ICT skills with online teaching tools.

Responsibilities

• Support students with Chinese learning in school.
• Help students maximize achievements within the curriculum.
• Assist teachers to increase student access to and attainment within the school curriculum.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Line Managers.
