Responsibilities

• Execute trade capture, affirmation, confirmation, and settlement activities across multiple asset classes
• Perform daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and broker reports
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and discrepancies
• Process cash and securities transfers while ensuring controls
• Support investor onboarding processes and maintain investor records
• Produce daily risk and limit monitoring reports; elevate breaches
• Develop and maintain automated workflows and SOPs for operational tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure smooth operations

Operations Specialist

The Operations Specialist role involves managing the full trade lifecycle, cash and liquidity management, and fund operations within a structured control framework. The position supports investor servicing, risk monitoring, and aims to optimise operational efficiency in a global markets environment.

Role Overview

The Operations Specialist works within a team responsible for executing trade capture, affirmation, confirmation, and settlement across multiple asset classes including futures, equities, fixed income, and FX. The role includes reconciling cash and positions daily, investigating breaks, and verifying NAVs independently. Additionally, the specialist processes cash and securities transfers, manages cash and liquidity forecasting, and supports onboarding and compliance activities. Success is measured by precise execution, timely reporting, and effective collaboration with risk, compliance, and external service providers. The role offers opportunities to gain end-to-end operational ownership and contribute to process automation initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience

• Manage trade capture, affirmation, confirmation, and settlement processes across global markets
