Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners is seeking an experienced events operations professional to own a portfolio of conferences and events across Asia. You will manage plans, timelines, and onsite delivery, coordinating with venues, suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.

The role includes supporting exhibition and sponsor areas, building strong sponsor relationships, and conducting post-event reviews to capture learnings and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • 3–5 years of operations experience in exhibitions, conventions, or corporate events.
  • Strong operations, project and time management skills.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail.
  • Willing to travel extensively within the region.

Responsibilities

  • Take full operational ownership of a portfolio of conferences & events in Asia.
  • Create and manage detailed event plans, timelines and onsite schedules from planning to post-event review.
  • Source, negotiate and contract venues for corporate events and manage vendor relationships.
  • Support exhibition and sponsor areas including floorplans, stand requirements and exhibitor communications.
  • Produce and maintain event documentation such as timelines, contracts, travel plans and risk assessments.
  • Build strong relationships with sponsors and exhibitors to ensure commitments are fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the events schedule.
  • Provide onsite support and troubleshoot issues in fast-paced environments.
  • Support flagship events with complex programmes and high-value supplier negotiations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event reviews with suppliers to identify improvements.

Job description

This role will support in event operations for regional conferences and events, from initial planning through to onsite delivery and post-event review. You will work closely with internal teams, venues, and suppliers to ensure events are delivered effectively and on time. You will also support events with exhibition or sponsor-led elements.

Responsibilities:
  • Take full operational ownership of a portfolio of conferences & events in Asia
  • Create and manage detailed event plans, timelines, and onsite schedules from initial planning through to post-event review
  • Source, negotiate and contract venues for various corporate events and manage vendor relationships
  • Support the operational delivery of exhibition and sponsor areas, including floorplans, stand requirements, exhibitor and sponsor communications, venue liaison, contractor schedules etc
  • Produce and maintain all key event documentation, including timelines, contracts, travel plans, checklists, risk assessments, and supplier details
  • Build strong working relationships with sponsors and exhibitors, ensuring all operational commitments and deliverables are clearly communicated and fulfilled
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver the events schedule
  • Provide effective onsite support and troubleshoot issues onsite, remaining calm and decisive in a fast-paced environment
  • Support the operational delivery of flagship events, including complex programmes and high-value supplier negotiations
  • Conduct pre- and post-event reviews with suppliers, reporting on outcomes, lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
Key Requirements:
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese & Mandarin
  • 3-5 years of operations experience in exhibitions, conventions, or corporate events
  • Strong operations, project & time management skills
  • Highly organised and attentive to detail
  • A collaborator with effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to travel extensively within the region
