Job summary

Morgan Stanley Asia Limited is seeking an Operations Client Servicing Associate at the Associate level to act as a key client service and escalation contact for PWM Asia Operations, partnering with business and internal stakeholders to support issue resolution, training coordination, metrics reporting and process improvement.

In Operations, the team supports financial transactions, implements controls and develops client relationships while driving automation and transformation.

Qualifications

• Ability to set clear goals and priorities with minimal guidance.
• Subject matter expertise in the supported business area and related operational controls.
• Experience in Operations, client service, middle office or asset servicing.
• Understanding of cash products, OTC derivatives, alternative investments and related asset classes.
• Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and summarize complex issues concisely.
• Ability to influence teams outside direct reporting lines and drive timely escalation and improvements.
• Commitment to collaboration and fostering an inclusive culture in Operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute processes, functions and project activities with knowledge of workflows, systems and financial products.
• Identify risks in daily activities and contribute to control improvements.
• Build effective relationships with Operations teams and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in projects and strategic initiatives, aiding solution development and timely execution.
• Act as local Operations client service contact for Singapore, with backup for Hong Kong, supporting escalation and issue resolution.
• Coordinate training, stakeholder meetings, escalation metrics and management updates to drive transparency and remediation.
• Produce and analyze management reporting to identify trends, risks and support decisions.
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders to enhance client experience and promote operational excellence.
