Job summary

Morgan Stanley Asia Limited is seeking an Operations Associate to deliver exceptional client service and relationship management across Listed Derivatives and OTC Clearing. You will act as a key escalation point while driving operational excellence and risk management for clients in a high-volume environment.

The role involves coordinating with Operations, Prime Brokerage, Sales and Technology to optimize client experience, resolve trade breaks, and support client technology solutions in Hong

Qualifications

• Experience delivering client service and managing client relationships in a financial services setting.
• Knowledge of risk controls and operational metrics in trading or clearing environments.
• Familiarity with listed derivatives, OTC clearing, and post-trade processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for daily client queries and provide timely resolutions.
• Monitor and manage operational risk related to margins, expiries, market events and client activity.
• Track client clearing activity to ensure accurate settlement figures and margin levels.
• Investigate trade breaks, cash exceptions and operational discrepancies across listed derivatives and cleared swaps.
• Prepare client reviews, call reports and deliver metrics and trend analysis.
• Educate clients on clearing solutions, tools and live demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Prime Brokerage, Sales and Technology to improve processes.
