Pando Finance Limited is seeking an Operation Manager for ETFs, Public Funds, and Fund Admin in Hong Kong. You will take ownership of fund financial reporting for ETFs, coordinate audits, and ensure timely internal control testing and disclosures.

The role requires strong knowledge of SFC regulations, fund accounting, and bilingual communication in English and Chinese. You will oversee back-office operations, drive control improvements, and support new fund set-ups in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• 5+ years in fund operations, preferably ETFs.
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of SFC regulations and fund accounting standards.
• Strong English and Chinese communication.

Responsabilités

• Act as main contact for external auditors for annual audits.
• Prepare interim reports for SFC-authorized funds/ETFs.
• Oversee internal control systems and external/internal reviews for the management company and fund structures.
• Monitor ETF back-office operations: PCF checks, reconciliation, trade processing, creation/redemption, and website disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with SFC regulatory requirements and ETF reporting.
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks such as new fund set-ups.

Take full ownership of fund financial reporting, including acting as the key contact for external auditors to facilitate annual audits and internal control testing, and independent preparation of interim reports for SFC-authorized funds/ETFs.

Oversee and enhance internal control systems, driving external and internal reviews for both the management company and fund structures.

Monitor routine ETF back-office operations, including daily PCF checking and reconciliation, trade processing, creation and redemption and website disclosure updating.

Ensure strict adherence to SFC regulatory requirements, especially ETFs' regular reporting.

Assist in ad-hoc tasks, such as new fund set-up.

Job Requirements:

Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines.

5+ years of experience in fund operations, preferably with a focus on ETFs.

Strong accounting/audit background with professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) highly preferred.

Knowledge of SFC regulations, fund accounting standards and trustee/custodian workflows.

Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to solve operational challenges.

Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).
