Job summary

China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited is seeking an experienced investment operations leader to support daily functions across multiple funds, including SFC authorized funds, retirement funds, ETFs and MMFs. The role requires strong leadership to coach junior staff and ensure accurate reconciliation, settlement and cash management.

The candidate should have 5+ years in accounting with fund exposure, deep knowledge of fund structures and applicable regulations, and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, at least three years in public fund, ETF, MMF or Digital Asset Management.
• Independent and self-motivated, with good problem solving skills and strong sense of responsibility.
• Knowledgeable in fund structure and relevant local and international laws and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office application; familiar with Chinese word processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach junior staff to support daily operations of investment portfolios and funds.
• Handle trade reconciliation, settlement, corporate actions and cash management.
• Oversee capital calls, trade processing and valuation.
• Manage custodian accounts and verify daily portfolio valuation and reconciliation, monitor cash position.
• Review internal and regulatory reporting for accuracy and timeliness of submission.
• Review internal and external annual audit and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Lead setup of new portfolios and KYC checks and system openings.
• Participate in system development projects including user requirements, UAT and deployment.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
• Lead and mentor a team and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and assignments.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach the junior staff to support daily operations of designated investment portfolios and various types of funds such as SFC authorized fund, retirement funds, includingtrade reconciliation, settlement, corporate action and cash management.
• Follow up with relevantparties on capital calls, trade processing and valuation etc.
• Manage custodian bank accounts, verify daily portfolio valuation and reconciliation, monitor cash position
• Support administrative tasks for portfolios or funds
• Review internal andregulatory reporting and ensure accuracy and timeliness of submission
• Review internal andexternal annual audit and ensure compliance with the applicable accountstandard and fulfill relevant regulations and guidelines
• Lead the initial setup of new portfolios or modifications to existing ones, including KYC checks, custody/investment account opening, system setup etc
• Participate in system development projects, in particular user requirement collection, UAT, system migration and deployment
• Identify opportunities forthe process enhancements
• Lead and mentor a team and foster a collaborative work environment
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks and assignments

Requirements:

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum of 5years of accounting experience, at least three years in public fund,ETF, MMF or Digital Asset Mangement
