Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an on-site engineer to support construction activities, propose methods, monitor progress, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients to ensure technical and safety standards.

The role requires a degree or higher diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services, at least 3 years’ E&M experience, and strong safety awareness with bilingual English and Chinese proficiency.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Degree holder in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in E&M projects
• Details oriented with strong safety awareness and problem solving skill
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience in main contractors is preferable

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite engineering support during the construction phase, propose construction methods for various site activities
• Monitor and supervise of work progress and co-ordinate of various activities at construction site
• Review sub-contractors' drawings and material submission for client
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and clients ensuring technical and safety standards
• Manage site quality control including work schedule, progress, material and equipment
