The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority invites applications for the Officer – Examinations Administration role (Ref: SE/09/341). The appointee will assist in administering the HKDSE, coordinating with schools, candidates and examination personnel.

The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent and not-for-profit statutory body which administers public examinations in Hong Kong. Our scope of responsibility extends to administering over 200 international and professional examinations. Officer – Examinations Administration (Ref: SE/09/341)
Duties: The appointee will assist in the administration and operation of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE), including liaison with schools and candidates on examination arrangement and logistics, recruitment of examination personnel and allocation of invigilation duties, processing examination irregularities and handling enquiries from candidates, schools, and other stakeholders. S/he is also responsible for processing applications for special entry, applications for first participation in the HKDSE examinations by schools, providing on-site support at examination centres established in the Greater Bay Area, conducting testing of various application systems under the HKDSE Examination System as well as performing other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline;
(b) At least 5 years’ relevant experience preferably in education-related sector;
(c) Able to travel to and stay in the Greater Bay Area at short notice, when necessary and station in the Greater Bay Area during the live examination periods;
(d) Strong interpersonal, planning and organisational skills;
(e) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
(f) Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing;
(g) Knowledge of examination procedures and regulations; and
(h) Meticulous, mature, multi-tasking and capable of working under pressure.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
