Job summary

THE ASTRONAUTS COLLECTIVE LTD. in Hong Kong seeks a Neurodivergence Specialist to strengthen career development support for neurodivergent youths, including ADHD, autism and dyslexia.

The role blends direct case handling, staff training, and program design to improve mentoring and employment readiness. The position starts as a 1-year contract with potential conversion to permanent, and fractional/part-time options (e.g., 3-day week) may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working directly with youths or young adults with neurodivergent presentations.
• Qualifications in Special Education, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Therapy, Social Work, or related fields.
• Experience coaching executive functioning is preferred.
• Understanding of Singapore's SEN and SPED landscape or ITE pathways is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support mentoring managers in cases involving neurodivergent mentees and guide staff on interventions for job applications, interviews, and job well-being.
• Directly handle selected complex cases with neurodivergent youths on career development needs.
• Deliver training for staff, volunteer mentors and youth mentees on neurodivergence and executive functioning.
• Develop practical materials such as guides, notes and handbooks to help mentors.
• Support employers and supervisors to understand neurodivergent presentations and needs.
• Assist in designing inclusive career development programmes and advocate Universal Design for Learning (UDL) where relevant.
