Job summary

The Children's Institute of Hong Kong is seeking an ABA Practitioner to join our team in the Southern District. This full-time role provides individualized ABA therapy to children and teens with neurodiverse needs in a supportive environment.

You will work directly with students, implement programs created by BCBAs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, special education, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience supporting neurodiverse students.
  • Excellent communication with students, families, and the team.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with neurodiverse students on 1:1, 2:1, or small groups.
  • Implement individualized programs designed by BCBAs.
  • Provide behavioural, social, and/or academic support in mainstream settings.
  • Prepare teaching materials and differentiate lesson plans; track data.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with therapists, teachers, and families for a holistic approach.
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports for each student.
  • Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training.

About the role

The Children's Institute of Hong Kong Limited is seeking an ABA Practitioner to join our team in the Southern District. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in providing individualised support and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teenagers with neurodiverse needs.


What you'll be doing


  • Work directly with neurodiverse students on a one-to-one, two-to-one basis, or small group teaching

  • Implement individualised programs designed by BCBAs

  • Provide behavioural, social, and/ or academic support to neurodiverse students in mainstream school setting

  • Prepare teaching materials and differentiation of lesson plans, data collection, report to parents and supervisors

  • Closely monitoring each student's progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, teachers, and family members to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's development

  • Maintaining detailed records and progress reports for each student

  • Participating in team meetings and ongoing training to continuously improve your expertise

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and the professional team
