The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong invites applications for a postdoctoral position in life sciences with a focus on cellular biology, omics analyses, and neurological disease mechanisms. The appointee should have a PhD and demonstrated research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, and models such as patient iPSC-derived neurons or animal models, including drug studies in vitro and in vivo.

The appointment is initially for up to three years, renewable on performance.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in life sciences, biomedical sciences, or related disciplines.
• Postdoctoral research experience with demonstrated ability in cell biology, molecular biology, iPSC-derived neurons, animal models, and omics analyses such as transcriptomics.

Responsabilités

• Seek and secure external research grants.
• Conduct research in neurological disease mechanisms and/or drug discovery.
• Co-supervise postgraduate students.
• Assist in laboratory management.
