Job summary

AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited is seeking an experienced IT professional to support network operations for AWE's expansive venue. You will troubleshoot firewall, switch, and access point issues and participate in IT projects to upgrade systems and enhance processes.

You will help establish robust network policies and collaborate with vendors to ensure secure, reliable operations. The role requires a degree in CS/IT, 5+ years in IT with 3+ in networking, CCNA or equivalent cert, and strong

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in Networking.
• CCNA or equivalent certification.
• Practical knowledge of network products and prevalent protocols.
• Experience in system integration or network support initiatives.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support IT operations with a focus on AWE Network.

Responsibilities

• Support IT operations with a focus on AWE Network.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues with various brands of firewall, switches, AP.
• Participate in IT operational projects, including systems upgrades, process improvements, etc.
• Establish and maintain robust communication and network policies, standards, and security procedures that keep everything running smoothly and securely.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including vendors and contractors, to drive seamless operations and project success.
• Monitor system capacity and fine‑tune performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Manage and monitor security tools such as firewalls, switches and SIEM.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Degree or above in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of IT working experience, with at least 3 years in the Networking.
• Certification in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or an equivalent certification from another network equipment vendor.
• Practical experience and comprehensive knowledge of network products from major vendors and prevalent network protocols.
• Experience in system integration projects or network infrastructure support and maintenance initiatives.
• A strong understanding of networking concepts.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
