Job summary

Gfi World is seeking a Network Operations Centre Supervisor to lead the operations team ensuring continuous 24/7 network and data centre activities. You will oversee transmission, DWDM, and data network surveillance, handling alarm escalation and fault reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecom, at least 1 year in supervision, and CCNA/CCNP would be advantageous. Fluency in English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the telecommunications industry.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• CCNA or CCNP certifications are a plus.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation team to ensure 24-hour daily operation activities.
• Oversee Transmission, DWDM and Data network surveillance, alarm escalation and fault reporting.
• Monitor Data Center access control, remote hand activities and BMS.
• Manage cross-connect cables at Data Centre and audit records.
• Provide fault analysis and recommendations to improve service quality.
• Manage contractors and vendors according to SLA on operation, maintenance and integration.

Supervise and manage the operation team to ensure 24-hour daily

operation activities of Network Operation Centre and Data Centre in

smooth

Manage cross connect cable at Data Centre in a professional

manner and audit the records

Provide fault analysis of each network platform based on tickets

system and recommendations on service quality reassurance

Manage contractors and vendors according to SLA on operation,

maintenance and integration of network equipment

The Person: Diploma or above in Building Services Engineering/ Mechanical

Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines

At least 5 years relevant experiences in Telecommunication industry

with minimum 1 year experience in supervisory level

Holder with CCNA, CCNP or relevant certificate will be an advantage

Good communication skill, leadership skill and customer-oriented

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
