Job summary

KOS International Talent Group is seeking an Assistant Manager, Network Infrastructure in Hong Kong to lead design, upgrades, and operation of enterprise networks. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across wired and wireless environments.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in networking, strong vendor and stakeholder skills, and relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• 6+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in networking.
• Hands-on experience in network infrastructure design, planning, implementation and upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise Wi-Fi, routing, switching, protocols and network security.
• Experience configuring, administering and troubleshooting network equipment from major vendors.
• Proven experience supporting network infrastructure or delivering system integration and network enhancement projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Strong vendor coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external parties.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• CCNA, CCNP or an equivalent network-vendor certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and upgrade network infrastructure to meet business and operational requirements.
• Manage wired and wireless networks, including Wi‑Fi access points, routers, switches and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor network capacity, availability and performance; propose improvements.
• Translate technical considerations into clear business language for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and service providers on design, delivery and issue resolution.
• Establish network policies, security controls and operational documentation.
• Support network security monitoring and SIEM tools.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, system integration and project delivery.
