Job summary

KOS International Talent Group is seeking an Assistant Manager, Network Infrastructure in Hong Kong to lead design, upgrades, and operation of enterprise networks. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across wired and wireless environments.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in networking, strong vendor and stakeholder skills, and relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• 6+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in networking.
• Hands-on experience in network infrastructure design, planning, implementation and upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise Wi-Fi, routing, switching, protocols and network security.
• Experience configuring, administering and troubleshooting network equipment from major vendors.
• Proven experience supporting network infrastructure or delivering system integration and network enhancement projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Strong vendor coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external parties.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• CCNA, CCNP or an equivalent network-vendor certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and upgrade network infrastructure to meet business and operational requirements.

This opportunity suits a technically strong network professional with excellent communication skills-someone who can deliver reliable, secure connectivity while working confidently with business stakeholders, users, vendors and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and upgrade network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, scalability and alignment with business and operational requirements.


• Manage and optimise wired and wireless networks, including Wi-Fi access points, routers, switches and firewalls.


• Troubleshoot complex network issues, identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive measures.


• Monitor network capacity, availability and performance, recommending improvements to support changing operational needs.


• Work closely with internal stakeholders and users to understand requirements and translate technical considerations into clear business language.


• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and service providers on solution design, implementation, issue resolution and project delivery.


• Establish and maintain network policies, security controls, technical standards and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.


• More than 6 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 3 years specialising in networking.


• In-depth, hands-on experience in network infrastructure design, planning, implementation and upgrades.


• Strong technical knowledge of enterprise Wi-Fi, routing, switching, network protocols and network security.


• Practical experience configuring, administering and troubleshooting network equipment from major vendors.


• Proven experience supporting network infrastructure or delivering system integration and network enhancement projects.


• Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues, risks and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
