Job summary

A. R. Medicom Inc. (Asia) Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to monitor, secure, and optimize our multi-site network infrastructure.

You will manage firewalls, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi, and VPNs, ensuring high availability and performance. The role requires deep Fortinet expertise, Azure networking, identity integration, and strong incident response. Qualifications

• Operations & Change Management: 7+ years overseeing multi-site network lifecycles and change control.
• Fortinet Fabric & Core Security: expertise in firewall policies, SD-WAN, VPNs, HA.
• Network Infrastructure & Wi‑Fi: Layer 2/3 routing, switching, VLANs, enterprise wireless.
• Hybrid Cloud & Identity: Azure VNets/NSGs and identity integration with MFA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security; respond to incidents and restore services within priorities.
• Administer and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, wireless infra, internet, LAN/WAN, and network segmentation.
• Deploy, configure, test, upgrade, and document network devices and services per security/change standards.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues with service desk, regional IT teams, vendors; identify root causes and fix.
• Maintain secure configurations, firewall policies, segmentation, remote access, backups, and recovery procedures.
• Perform reviews of health, resilience, capacity, security controls; document findings and track actions.
• Test high-availability and DR capabilities; address single points of failure; support business continuity.
• Lead network workstreams; plan, manage risk, implement, test, communicate with stakeholders, transition to operations.
• Maintain network diagrams, addressing plans, configuration standards, asset records, runbooks, change records.
• Communicate service impacts and project status to technical and business stakeholders; participate in after-hours maintenance.

Job description

Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security; respond to incidents and restore services within agreed priorities.

Administer and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, internet connectivity, local and wide area networks, and network segments.

Deploy, configure, test, upgrade, and document network devices and services in accordance with security and change-management standards.

Troubleshoot complex network issues with the service desk, regional IT teams, vendors, and other technical teams; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Maintain secure network configurations, firewall policies, segmentation, remote access, firmware, configuration backups, and recovery procedures.

Perform scheduled reviews of network health, resilience, capacity, security controls, and configuration compliance; document findings and track actions to completion.

Test high-availability and disaster recovery capabilities, address single points of failure, and support business continuity requirements.

Lead assigned network workstreams and improvement initiatives, including planning, risk management, implementation, testing, stakeholder communication, and transition to operations.

Maintain accurate network diagrams, addressing plans, configuration standards, asset records, runbooks, change records, and operational documentation.

Communicate service impacts, project status, risks, dependencies, decisions, and outcomes clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

Participate in planned after-hours maintenance and provide support for critical network incidents in accordance with the established support model.

REQUIREMENTS

Operations & Change Management: 7+ years managing multi-site network lifecycles, firmware updates, technical documentation, and formal change control.

Fortinet Fabric & Core Security: Deep expertise in FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP, specializing in firewall policies, SD-WAN, VPNs, and HA.

Network Infrastructure & Wi-Fi: Strong foundation in Layer 2/3 routing and switching, VLANs, network segmentation, and enterprise wireless deployments.

Hybrid Cloud & Identity: Skilled in Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, IPsec) and integrating network access with Entra ID, Active Directory, and MFA.

Troubleshooting & Analysis: Adept at root-cause analysis using CLI tools, packet captures, debug flows, and centralized logging across physical and vSphere environments.

Resilience & DR/BCP: Proven track record designing, testing, and supporting mission-critical networks with documented disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
