Job summary
Intex Development Co Ltd in Hong Kong invites a talented Motion Designer & Video Editor to create compelling content across digital and marketing channels. You will turn raw footage into polished stories, and design motion graphics, titles and 2D/3D animations for brand campaigns and product websites.
Collaborate with art directors and marketing teams, manage post-production tasks, optimize formats for YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, and maintain an organized video library.
Qualifications
- At least three years of professional video-editing experience.
- Diploma or degree in Video Production, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Film Production, or related discipline.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating video-editing and storytelling skills.
- Experience in sporting goods or children's toy industry is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in macOS and video-editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
- Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
Responsibilities
- Video Production & Editing: Conceptualize, edit, and assemble raw footage into engaging content for social media and campaigns.
- Multimedia & Post-Production: Handle color grading, audio mixing, subtitles, and motion graphics.
- Content Optimization: Adapt formats for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok across platforms.
- 2D/3D Motion Graphics: Design and animate motion graphics, titles and logos.
- VFX & Compositing: Create visual effects and overlays to elevate edits.
- Eye-catching motion assets: Produce assets for paid campaigns and digital displays.
- Library management: Maintain an organized video library and easy access on servers.
- Continuity: Ensure sequential and visual continuity of final edits.
- Retouching support: Assist with high-end photo retouching and color correction.

We are seeking a talented and versatile Motion Designer & Video Editor to create compelling visual content across digital, social, and marketing channels. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative storytelling and dynamic design - taking raw video footage and turning it into polished, high-performing visual stories, as well as designing eye-catching motion graphics, titles, and 2D/3D animations. You will collaborate closely with Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Copywriters, and Marketing teams to produce high-quality motion content for brand campaigns, social media and product websites.
- Video Production & Editing: Conceptualize, edit, and assemble raw footage into engaging short-form and long-form video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
- Multimedia & Post-Production: Handle post-production tasks including video cutting, color grading, audio mixing, subtitle integration, and motion graphics/animations.
- Content Optimization: Adapt and optimize video formats, ratios, and specs across multiple digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
- Conceptualize, design, and animate 2D (and optional 3D) motion graphics, kinetic typography, animated logos and title cards.
- Create visual effects (VFX), compositing, and dynamic graphic overlays to elevate standard video edits.
- Produce eye-catching motion assets for paid advertising campaigns and digital displays.
- Maintain an organized digital library of raw and edited video footage for easy access and retrieval of video content on Department server and file organization platforms.
- Select, trim, and utilize stringout footage, ensuring sequential and visual continuity of the final edited videos.
- Assisting with high-end digital photo retouching, color correction, masking, background removal, and compositing for product and commercial photography.
- At least three years of professional video-editing experience.
- Diploma or degree in Video Production, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Film Production, or a related discipline—or equivalent professional experience.
