Job summary

Intex Development Co Ltd is seeking a talented Motion Designer & Video Editor to create compelling visual content across digital and marketing channels. You will turn raw footage into polished stories, design motion graphics, and collaborate with Art Directors, Designers and Marketing teams to produce high-quality content for brand campaigns and product websites.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a talented and versatile Motion Designer & Video Editor to create compelling visual content across digital, social, and marketing channels. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative storytelling and dynamic design - taking raw video footage and turning it into polished, high-performing visual stories, as well as designing eye-catching motion graphics, titles, and 2D/3D animations. You will collaborate closely with Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Copywriters, and Marketing teams to produce high-quality motion content for brand campaigns, social media and product websites.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Video Production & Editing: Conceptualize, edit, and assemble raw footage into engaging short-form and long-form video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
• Multimedia & Post-Production: Handle post-production tasks including video cutting, color grading, audio mixing, subtitle integration, and motion graphics/animations.
• Content Optimization: Adapt and optimize video formats, ratios, and specs across multiple digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
• Conceptualize, design, and animate 2D (and optional 3D) motion graphics, kinetic typography, animated logos and title cards.
• Create visual effects (VFX), compositing, and dynamic graphic overlays to elevate standard video edits.
• Produce eye-catching motion assets for paid advertising campaigns and digital displays.
• Maintain an organized digital library of raw and edited video footage for easy access and retrieval of video content on Department server and file organization platforms.
• Select, trim, and utilize stringout footage, ensuring sequential and visual continuity of the final edited videos.
• Assisting with high-end digital photo retouching, color correction, masking, background removal, and compositing for product and commercial photography.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• At least three years of professional video-editing experience.
• Diploma or degree in Video Production, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Film Production, or a related discipline—or equivalent professional experience.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating video-editing and storytelling skills.
• Experience in the sporting goods or children’s toy industry is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in macOS and video-editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
