Job summary

Links International is seeking a skilled fund accounting professional in Hong Kong to manage day-to-day accounting and fund operations while contributing to process improvements and team development.

The role covers month-end closings, management reporting, and ownership of core fund operations including capital calls, distributions, quarterly reporting, and tax filings. Strong English and Chinese communication is essential, with CPA/ACCA considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA) is a plus.
• 5 years related working experience in Asset Management or Fund Administration.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting and fund operations responsibilities.
• Handle month end closings and management reporting.
• Support and take ownership of core fund operations (capital calls, distributions, quarterly reporting, tax filings).
• Conduct cash reconciliations and process expense payments accurately and timely.
• Maintain documentation for investment-related records, company secretarial records, and service agreements.
• Update LP database and portfolio company lists; suggest improvements to record-keeping.
• Coordinate with external service providers (fund administrators, auditors, legal, compliance, and secretaries).
• Assist year-end fund audits and prepare audit schedules; respond to auditor inquiries.

• Support and progressively take ownership of core fund operations, including capital calls, distributions, quarterly reporting, and tax filings
• Handle cash reconciliations and process expense payments with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of investment-related documents, company secretarial records, and service agreements
• Maintain and update non-financial records, such as LP database and portfolio company lists; identify and suggest improvements to record-keeping processes
• Track and organize documentation, ensuring timely updates to internal records
• Liaise with external service providers including fund administrators, auditors, legal, compliance, and company secretaries
• Support year-end fund audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline ,professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
• 5 years related working experience gained in Asset Management or Fund Administration
• Solid foundation in fund accounting; experience in VC/PE fund operations is a strong advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent command in English and Chinese
